Research Experience for Undergraduates - REU California State University

Research opportunities exist in engineering, agricultural engineering, and materials science and engineering.
When: June 13 - August 19, 2017
Program features:
- Valuable research experience in the labs of our faculty mentors
- Professional development sessions
- Site visits to local industry
- $4,000 stipend for 10 weeks
Minimum requirements:
- Freshmen or Sophomore
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Application deadline: May 1, 2017
Application forms should be submitted before May 1, 2017 and consist of the following materials:
- Personal information: name, email, phone number
- A statement of purpose describing what you hope to gain by participating in this REU program, your career interest, etc. (Essay indicating interest in food and agricultural sciences)
- An unofficial transcript reflecting your entire college career (copies or scans are fine as long as they are readable)
- GPA and anticipated major (priority to students with interest in food and agricultural engineering)
- Short bio or CV
