Research opportunities exist in engineering, agricultural engineering, and materials science and engineering.

When: March 21 – May 27, 2017

Program features:

  • Valuable research experience in the labs of our faculty mentors
  • Professional development sessions
  • Site visits to local industry
  • $2,400 stipend for 10 weeks

Minimum requirements:

  • Freshmen or Sophomore
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Application deadline: February 1, 2017

Application forms should be submitted before February 1, 2017 and consist of the following materials:

  • Personal information: name, email, phone number
  • A statement of purpose describing what you hope to gain by participating in this REU program, your career interest, etc. (Essay indicating interest in food and agricultural sciences)
  • An unofficial transcript reflecting your entire college career (copies or scans are fine as long as they are readable)
  • GPA and anticipated major (priority to students with interest in food and agricultural engineering)
  • Short bio or CV
