What is ResNet?

Residential Network (ResNet) is the name of the computer network segment that provides connectivity to the on-campus housing at CSU Bakersfield.  Each room is equipped with one Ethernet connection for student access. Some double rooms may have two Ethernet connections. When students use ResNet rather than their ISP dialup, they will receive high-speed access to library online resources, online courses, email, and web surfing. With ResNet, students living in the dorms are no longer constrained to slow dialup connections or lines in the computer labs.

Prior to using ResNet, all students living in the dorms are expected to read the following documents and abide by all policies and rules.
