Commencement Ceremony Ticket Information
2009 June Ceremony Dates:
- Graduate Hooding Ceremony (Master Degree Candidates) -- All Majors
- Wednesday, June 10 -- 6:00 pm, Icardo Center
- School of Humanities & Social Sciences Baccalaureate Ceremony (Liberal Studies, and Communications Majors)
- Saturday, June 13 -- 7:00 am, CSU Bakersfield Amphiteatre.
- School of Business & Public Administration (Environmental Resource Management)
- Friday, June 12 -- 7:00 am, CSU Bakersfield Amphitheatre
- Credential Candidates will not participate in Commencement exercises. A Credential Reception will be held for students who have successfully completed all Credential coursework. Contact the School of Education for details.
Ticket Distribution Details:
To ensure adequate seating at each of the commencement ceremonies, tickets will be required for all guests. Commencement tickets are complimentary, and will be distributed at the following times:
* Monday, April 20 -- 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Grad Fair, CSUB Student Union
* Tuesday, April 21 -- 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Grad Fair, CSUB Student Union
* Thursday, April 23 -- 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Grad Fair, Antelope Valley Campus
* Monday, May 18 - Thursday, May 21, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, CSUB Student Union
* Tuesday, May 26 - Thursday, May 28, 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm, CSUB Student Union
Regional Programs students who cannot travel to the Bakersfield or Antelope Valley Campus have the option of requesting their tickets be mailed to them. Mailed ticket requests will be accepted only until Tuesday, May 26. After this date, students will be required to come to the Bakersfield Campus for tickets. To request mailed tickets, contact Liezel Ilarde at 661/654-6333 or lilarde@csub.edu.
If students who do not have their tickets mailed do not pick up tickets by 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 28, the Ticket Office cannot guarantee they will receive their full number of commencement tickets.

Number of Tickets:
Each graduate can be assured of receiving up to six tickets if collected by May 28. However, the campus requests students only pick up the number of tickets needed. Children 2 years old and younger do not need a ticket, if they do not use a seat. Graduates do not need tickets.
