Course Drop & Refund Policy

Students must complete and submit an Extended University Add/Drop form to be dropped from courses.

Failure to withdraw from a credit course in which one is officially registered but does not complete will result in a grade of F. 

Course Cancellation

  • 100% Refund

Face to Face Courses With Five or More Scheduled Meetings

  • Withdraw prior to the second scheduled meeting: 100% refund less $25 administrative fee
  • Withdraw after the second scheduled class meeting and prior to a date at which 25% of the course has elapsed: 60% refund
  • Withdraw after 25% of the course has elapsed: No refund

Online Courses

  • Withdraw by the fourth day of the quarter: 100% refund less $25 administrative fee
  • Withdraw after the fourth day of the quarter and prior to a date at which 25% of the quarter has elapsed: 60% refund
  • Withdraw after 25% of the quarter has elapsed: No refund

Face to Face Courses With Three or Four Scheduled Meetings

  • Withdraw prior to the first scheduled meeting: 100% refund less $25 administrative fee
  • Withdraw after the first scheduled meeting and prior to the second scheduled meeting: 60% refund
  • Withdraw after second scheduled meeting: No refund

Face to Face Course With One or Two Scheduled Meetings

  • Withdraw prior to the first scheduled meeting: 100% refund less $25 administrative fee
  • Withdraw after first scheduled Meeting: No refund
