The light of a candle can be very beautiful to behold.

In the induction ceremony, new members are asked to light a candle to represent a new light on their path of knowledge.

Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend this event to support their new Psi Chi inductee.

Candles are an important symbol in the Psi Chi induction.

About Us

E-mail: psi.chi.csub@gmail.com

Psi Chi has been an active part of the life at both the CSUB main campus as well as the school’s satellite campus at Antelope Valley. Inductions are held regularly each academic quarter to initiate promising new members.

Psi Chi is also active in the local community. In the past year, CSUB Psi Chi has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. We have also hosted various research conferences as well as co-host the annual graduation reception for graduating psychology students with Psychology Club.

This year we hope to continue many of our old traditions as well as expand our activities at CSUB and in the community.
