Philosophy and Religious Studies Book Discussion Group
As we have grown, several members have been asking for more events sponsored by the club. Knocking around a few ideas, we have birthed a new segment of the club, The CSUB Philosophy and Religious Studies Club Book Discussion Group. Please feel free to contact the organizer as quickly as possible so that we may know who has interest and when you can meet. These meetings will be one hour a week and the readings will never be more than 20 pages. All details are being worked out now so please contact Chris Fleming now. The book we have chosen is a contemporary piece by Jean Francois Lyotard entitled "The Postmodern Condition". This book may be purchased at any bookstore in town, but it may have to be ordered so please act soon if you are interested. If by chance there is a problem and you cannot procure the book by the start date, please contact bob perrine and we can work out a solution.
