To all those who have expressed interest in our Accelerated BSN program:

As you all are aware the state of the State's economy is having an impact everywhere. The CSU system is no exception. As a result, there are decision that need to be made very soon regarding the nursing programs that we will be able to offer in the future. There has been a lot of interest in the ABSN program planned for summer 2009. We began accepting applications for the program on October 6, 2008. To date, I have only received three applications. In order to quickly determine the extent of real interest in this program, we are moving up the closing date for applications to the ABSN program. The closing date for ABSN applications is DECEMBER 8, 2008. Your application will only be considered if it is received in the Department of Nursing on or before this date and is complete with all required documents. The exception here can be the requirement of official transcripts. If you do not have official transcripts (at this time) to attach to the application you should submit unofficial copies.
