Fall 2019 Application Period and Deadlines

Application to the Traditional BSN program is a 2-step process.

STEP 1: Apply to CSUB through Cal State Apply  October 1st - November 30th for Fall 2019 Admissions

Transfer Applicants

With nursing being an impacted program, applicants must file an application for admissions during the initial filing period of  October 1st to November 30th through CSU Apply for fall 2019. This is required prior to submitting a supplemental nursing application (step 2). Upon applying through Cal State Apply, documents such as official transcripts, official test scores (AP, IB if applicable), and other university requirements must be submitted and received in the Office of Admissions and Records in order for your university application to be reviewed and processed. For details, please visit Application Process for Transfer Students.

Second Bachelor's

Students seeking a potential second bachelor's degree must also complete a CSU Apply application by deadline of Nov. 30th. Official transcripts and applicable test scores must also be submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records. Important: Be sure to indicate in your online application that you are seeking a “Second Bachelor’s Degree” in order to locate the program in Cal State Apply.

Current CSUB Students

Current CSUB students do not need to submit a Cal State Apply application unless if they have been inactive with the university for at least two or more semesters. Returning CSUB students will need to re-apply for admission through Cal State Apply during the initial application filing period.
