Practitioner Option
Preference for admission will be given to students with 1)
bilingual skills, specifically Spanish and 2) evidence of
commitment to be employed in care of minority or under-served
health care populations.

Post-Master’s Certificate Program
Admission Requirements:
- Criteria as specified for admission to the Master of
Science in Nursing program are met including criteria for
the specific options.
- Graduation from a nationally recognized, regionally
accredited Master’s program in Nursing.
- One year of full-time experience as a Registered
Nurse in the past three years.
- Preference for admission will be given to students
with 1) bilingual skills, specifically Spanish, and 2)
evidence of commitment to be employed in care of minority or
under-served health care populations.
- Applicants to the Post-Masters School Nurse
Credential program must possess a Preliminary School Nurse
Credential.
