Engineering students interested in electrical and computer engineering can now complete all of the required general education courses, all prerequisite courses, and all engineering courses through the third year of a four-year program, at the CSU-Bakersfield or CSU Antelope Valley campuses.  This is a specially designed, seamless, program offered as a joint effort by CSU-Bakersfield, CSU-Fresno, and CSU-Northridge.  Students who satisfy the three-year curriculum requirements can go directly to either the CSU-Fresno campus or the CSU-Northridge campus to complete their fourth-year studies for their engineering degree.

The lower division engineering classes not offered at CSU-Bakersfield and the third-year engineering classes will be provided via distance learning technology by the engineering colleges at CSU-Fresno and CSU-Northridge.  This technology allows real-time communication between the instructor and the students.
