Math and Science Teacher Initiative
This program is designed to double the number of prospective high school math and science teachers who graduate from CSUB. Participants can receive up to $8,000 in scholarship awards plus additional funding through the state of California.
Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program
The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science teachers. The program provides funds to institutions of higher education to support scholarships, stipends, and academic programs for undergraduate STEM majors and post-baccalaureate students holding STEM degrees who commit to teaching in high-need K-12 school districts.
Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation
The goal of CSUB LSAMP is to broaden participation in science, mathematics, engineering and technology (STEM) disciplines and contribute to the national agenda to increase the number of underrepresented minorities receiving baccalaureate degrees in STEM disciplines. A participant must be an individual who has faced or faces social, cultural, educational, or economic barriers to careers in STEM.
