CSUB Greeks Give Back on Campus This Week

The Greek Council at California State University, Bakersfield is hosting its Greeks Give Back Week through Saturday, Nov. 11. There will be many fun activities for the campus community, including games and outreach programs.

A few of the events include:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 7 -- Volleyball Tournament in Student Union Park. 3-5 p.m.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 8 -- Mummify-a-Greek and Tug-O-War on Student Union Patio,

    11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Thursday, Nov. 9 -- Care Packages Assembly in Student Union Multipurpose Room, 3-6

    p.m.

  • Saturday, Nov. 11 – Veteran’s Day Parade, downtown Bakersfield.

    Throughout the week, a coin drive, located in the Student Union, will accept loose change donations, which will go toward CSUB students with food insecurity. Donation for care packages also will be accepted at the ASI Office and sent to active military.

    The Greek community’s goal is to come together and give back to something much bigger than the group itself. The hope is to encourage and motivate the campus community to give back to the men and women of this country who fight for our freedoms, as well as those in need on campus.
