CSUB’s School of NSME To Host Senior Design Expo and Career Fair

California State University, Bakersfield’s School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering (NSME) and the Society of Women Engineers CSUB Student Chapter will hold a Senior Design Expo and Career Fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, in the Student Housing Multipurpose Room.

“The Society of Women Engineers is excited to host various companies at this event,” said SWE student representative Audrey Willoughby. “It is a unique way to showcase what our students are learning at CSUB, and it provides students valuable networking opportunities."

The evening will allow students to network with local businesses and find out more about possible careers they are interested in. Confirmed businesses who will be available to speak with are: USDA – Natural Resources Conservation Service; Rain for Rent; Soils Engineering, Inc.; Cortech Engineering, a DXP Company; Granite Construction; GAF; Stantec; Mazzei Injector, Co.; Aspect Engineering; and Seneca Resources Corporation.  This event is funded by Edison International.
