CSU Bakersfield Presents Iris Carrillo in Senior Recital

The Music Department at California State University, Bakersfield presents a senior recital by graduating senior and classical guitarist Iris Carrillo on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 7pm in the CSUB Music Building, room 127. Carrillo will present a program of music by Bach, Villa-Lobos, Joaquin Turina and more. The senior recital is the culmination of four years of guitar study and the final requirement for a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music.
Carrillo regularly performs solo and chamber works at CSUB and for various gatherings in the greater Bakersfield area. She has performed works from the traditional repertoire as well as newly composed works written by Dr. Keith Calmes and CSUB student-composers. During her time at CSUB, she has performed in Master Classes for Roger Allen Cope, Isaac Bustos, Aaron Larget-Caplan, and Chilean Maestro Carlos Pérez.
