CSUB SUPPORTS KIDS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAMS

How would you like to offer your children a summer program where they can experience something educational, stimulating and fun while at the same time building a desire to attend college in their futures?

CSU Bakersfield Extended University is ready to fulfill that request through its annual Roadrunner Reading, Art and Math Summer Camps designed for children entering 1st through 6th grades. From Monday, June 17 to Friday, July 12, elementary school children will have the opportunity to enrich their lives on the CSUB campus. Information regarding each camp can be found below:

Roadrunner Reading Camp 

Description: Children will build skills in phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension through small group instruction, led by a staff of experienced teachers in a relaxed learning environment.

Dates: June 17-July 11, Monday through Thursday, No camp on July 4.

Roadrunner Art Camp 

Description: Children will enhance and enrich art skills and talents through topic-based art study in the fields of drawing, painting, mixed media, and craft work. Designed for children entering 2nd through 6th grade.

Dates: June 18-July 12, Monday through Thursday, No camp on July 4

Roadrunner Math Camp

Description: Children will build skills in mastering math facts and increasing mathematical reasoning.

Dates: June 17-July 11, Monday through Thursday, No camp on July 4.

All classes will be held from 9 am to noon on the CSUB campus. Cost for participants is $325 by May 17, $375 after May 17 and $300 for returning campers if registered by May 1.
