Research Programs and Opportunities

A vital component of the McNair program is providing research opportunities for Scholars. Students are paired with faculty mentors who are able to facilitate each student's academic goals. Each scholar collaborates with a faculty mentor (of his/her choice) on a research project. This opportunity allows Scholars to formulate research interests and develop research skills. In addition, Scholars and their faculty mentors prepare their research for publication and/or presentation at regional and national conferences.
