What is the CSU-LSAMP Program?

The National Science Foundation/California State University Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program is a comprehensive statewide project dedicated to increasing the number of students from underrepresented groups graduating from the CSU with baccalaureate degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The LSAMP program emphasizes activities designed to enhance graduate school preparedness, interventions for community college transfer students, and expanding opportunities for student engagement in international activities.

Who is Eligible?

Undergraduate students who face or have faced social, educational or economic barriers to careers in STEM. Students must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Students should be enrolled at CSUB in an undergraduate major in the School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering (NSME).

- California Forums for Diversity in Graduate Education at UC San Diego, November 8, 2014. The Forum provides students the opportunity to attend various workshops pertaining to graduate education, listen to motivational speakers and network with over 100 graduate program representatives.
