SPARC is a program designed to prepare underrepresented minority students for advanced studies in natural sciences and mathematics. We offer participants a two-year scholarship worth between $1,200 and $2,500 per academic year. We also have an additional incentive program worth up to $2,400 over the life of the program. SPARC provides a strong foundation that all MARC U*STAR students are expected to have.
***SPARC Incentive Program: We offer a $400 bonus for each required SPARC course that has been completed with a B or better!
