Food for thought:
In addition to music, you will find bar-be-cue, hot dogs, burgers, ethnic foods, popcorn, and beverages such as soft drinks, bottled water, beer, wine, and coffees.
Exhibits:
Tour the Art Pavillion, clothing, handbangs and jewerly booths, and a local body works institute. Visit corporate sponsor booths and purchase Jazz Festival tee shirts and memorabillia at the festival kiosk.
Hear additional artist performances on Stage 2 near the Food Court.

From the 5 Freeway North or South, exit Stockdale Highway. Travel east on Stockdale Highway 13 miles to Don Hart Drive West and turn right.
From the 99 Freeway North, take the 58 East exit toward Tehachapi/Mojave. Veer left and take the Stockdale Highway / California State University Bakersfield exit. Turn left onto Wible Road. Travel one block and turn left onto Stockdale Highway. Travel west on Stockdale Highway 3.5 miles to the university. Turn left on Don Hart Drive East.

What to Bring
A blanket, low-back chairs, still cameras, (no video), picnic baskets, coolers, food, soft drinks, a light jacket for evening, ATM/credit cards, friends, family, a good appetite, and your dancing shoes!
Come early to pick a spot on the amphitheatre lawn. As a courtesy to others in attendance, please set up umbrellas and high-back chairs toward the periphery of the lawn.
