CSU Bakersfield Desktop Software Site License Policy
It is the current policy of CSU Bakersfield to provide access to pertinent software for all University owned computers. This policy includes access to software pertaining to operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, communication software, virus protection and electronic calendaring. Currently, the following selected software will be provided and maintained on all campus owned computers at no cost to individual departments. The University will obtain a site license under the terms and agreements of the software manufacturer, CSU Bakersfield and/or the CSU Chancellor's Office. These agreements only apply to campus computers and do not provide licenses for home computers of University employees, except otherwise noted.
