HOUSING AT CSUB

The residence halls offer the convenience of prepared meals, the closeness of classes and activities, and the social and cultural mixing with other resident students. The residence halls are for single students not for families, children or married couples. Some single rooms are available.

There are six 3-story houses that each accommodates 54 students on campus.

Rooms are double occupancy (183 sq. ft.) or super double (265 sq. ft.). Roommates are matched according to student information on the Housing.

A $50 non-refundable application fee is required as well as a $200 down payment to hold a space (either actual bed space or a space on the waiting list if we are full). The application packet must be complete and submitted to our office vial email at csubhousing@gmail.com in order for fees to be applied. The application packet can be found at www.csub.edu/housing under the "Forms" tab.

The license agreement that is included in the application packet is a legally binding agreement that requires students to pay for the full term of the agreement, which is the academic year, September - June. Housing over the winter and spring breaks is not included but is available for an additional fee.

To live off campus, please visit the apartment list. There is a variety of housing for rent in Bakersfield.
