GRADUATE STUDENTS
For
most Master’s degree programs, the maximum transferable course credit is 9
units including courses taken through CSUB Extended University or other
institutions. However, we
encourage you to meet with your academic advisor before you make any plans to
study abroad.
Some departments may make exceptions and may accept more transferable credits.
All transfer credits earned in other colleges and universities including
foreign universities and those earned through the CSUB’s Extended University
must be approved by the graduate adviser and graduate dean. As a result,
graduate students may only study abroad for 6 months if you desire to
count the earned credits abroad towards your degree.
For further
information, please consult the Regulations of the Graduate Division regarding
Transfer, Extension, and
Foreign University Credit.
