Application Procedures for International Exchange
Students

California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) welcomes exchange students and scholars. CSUB is affiliated with many international exchange agencies and a list of universities.

 

To apply, your Exchange Program Coordinator will forward your application and supporting materials to CSUB's Exchange Program Coordinator. Upon receipt of your application at CSUB, the CSUB Exchange Programs Coordinator will contact you and advise you if there are any additional documents needed to complete your application.

 

Application Deadlines

 

For priority consideration, to study at CSUB beginning Spring Quarter (March to June), all applications must be received and complete (including TOEFL or IELTS results) by October 15. For study at CSUB beginning Fall Quarter (September to December) all applications must be received and complete (including TOEFL or IELTS results) by March 1.

 

If you feel that you cannot complete the process by these deadlines, we urge you to defer your request for admissions as an exchange student until the following quarter.
