ABOUT US:

International Students & Programs (ISP) is a department of CSUB’s Division of Enrollment Management. We provide assistance to our international community coming to CSUB to study, perform research, or lecture. We also provide guidance and liaison to domestic students and international students who are interested in study abroad and exchange programs.

Our mission is to provide excellent service to international students and scholars, specifically those who are attending CSUB on F-1 or J-1 student visas. We are mandated by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to provide information and guidance to you on the regulations and laws you are required to follow in order to remain in this country legally while pursuing your course of study.

If international students who are currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or certificate programs at CSUB have any concerns about your immigration status, Curriculum Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), or immigration document requests, ISP is the right place to visit.

If you are interested in studying abroad for one term or one year, please visit our website or office for available study abroad programs and exchange programs. We will help you to plan and prepare you for the adventure.

The Office of International Students & Programs (ISP) is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Our staff is available to meet with students on both an appointment and drop-in advising basis. Students/scholars may schedule an appointment to speak with one of our International Student Advisors by calling at 661-654-2014.

Please note that drop-in advising hours are subject to availability and may change without notice. Please call ISP office to confirm our drop-in advising hours in advance of your visit.
