THE RESIDENCE HALL COMMUNITY
Six three-story residence halls – Lorien, Entwood, Dobry, Rivendell, Numenor, Rohan – are located on the west side of campus and house approximately 300 students. It is a small residential community that gives students the opportunity to live, learn and grow. The residence halls are available to full-time CSUB students.
All six houses have air conditioned double rooms and are coed by floor. Rooms are carpeted and furnished with beds, desks, chairs, dressers, closets, basic cable TV and campus internet. Other facilities include a coin operated laundry, swimming pool, computer lab, bicycle racks and parking.
The Dining Commons serves as a focal point for many social activities as well as food service. Meals are buffet style and include entrees, salad bar, deli bar, soups, beverages and desserts. A student will select between two meal plans; 19 or 14 meals per week.
ADVANTAGES TO LIVING ON CAMPUS
The residence halls are just minutes away from classes and the library. Living in the residence halls provides the opportunity to meet people, make friends and enjoy many social, cultural and educational programs. The residence halls are also home to live-in staff that are ready to assist students with any questions or concerns.
