Applicants must indicate how their expenses will be paid during their studies at the Intensive English Language Center in the Financial Section of the IELC Application for Enrollment. In addition, an original bank statement, a letter on bank stationary stating that the funds are available, or other official financial documentation must be attached to verify funding. Photocopies of financial documents will not be accepted. Applications will not be processed without original financial documents. All documents must be in English. Back to top

You must make your own arrangements for travel to Bakersfield if arriving at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). University policy does not allow IELC staff to transport students from LAX. The Airport Bus of Bakersfield offers a low-cost bus service between LAX and Bakersfield. Information on this service is sent with each student€s acceptance package.
