Rights, Responsibilities, Judicial,
Policies & Handbook

On-campus living provides residents with an extension of classroom learning experience and gives them the opportunity to put social community development into practice. As part of the residential hall communities, residents are given certain rights and privileges to express one’s individuality and uniqueness. These rights and privileges are within the boundaries of respect and courtesy and at the same time give members the opportunities to demonstrate a willingness to abide by the community’s standard and policy. When you applied for housing at CSUB, you entered into a binding contract and agreed to abide by the rules and regulations set forth in the contract. All students living in Housing are responsible for the policies outlined in the Residence Life Handbook as well as all University policies.  We strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with these documents and contact the Office of Student Housing and Residence Life if you have any questions.
