The Annual Southern California Regional Phi Alpha Theta Student Paper Conference for 2007 will be held at Cal State University Northridge on Saturday, May 4. I hope that some of you will plan now to attend. If you’d like to know more about this conference, please come by and talk with me, or email me at mvivian@csub.edu. Submitting a research paper to our chapter competition in January is an excellent first step toward participating in the regional conference.
If you have any questions about Phi Alpha Theta, you might ask one of our new officers for 2006-07: President: John Gilbert; Vice-President: Marie Poland; Secretary/Treasurer: Deanna Heikkinen; Historian: Kenya McCormack; Paper Award: Peter Wonderly; Banquet: Daniel Tierney. We welcome new members! If you think you qualify, please fill out one of the red application forms located in the rack outside my office door—or contact me (mvivian@csub.edu; 661-654-2230; Faculty Towers 304A).
