CSUB HEP completes year with first graduating class
Letter from the director

Lou Montano, HEP DirectorCongratulations to your first year graduation class! You are now an alumnus from the California State University - High School Equivalency Program. Your dedication and hard work has helped you achieve your GED. I would also like to congratulate our current students on being accepted into the CSUB-HEP Program. We have already made large strides during our second year. We have 27 students so far that have successfully completed all five exams in the GED (27 Graduates). CSUB-HEP is well underway and is expecting another high graduation rate for the second year. Again, congratulations to all of our graduates and current students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

-Lou Montano, HEP Director

I would like to thank everyone that has helped and supported the California State University, Bakersfield - High School Equivalency Program. Image of Students Your help and support was instrumental in enhancing our overall program. As we begin our second year, CSUB-HEP continues to provide a wonderful opportunity for migrant and seasonal farm workers in Kern County. Our goal is to provide instructional services necessary to prepare students to successfully complete their examinations in order to receive their GED diploma. We also prepare, encourage, and assist our students to pursue either post secondary education, vocational job training, gain permanent full time employment or serve in the military.
