Applying to HEP

Any Migrant or Seasonally employed agricultural worker or their children who:

Arrow Within the last 24 months have worked a minimum of 75 days in farmwork; or eligible in or

Arrow Participated in a Migrant Education Program;

Arrow Is at least 16 years of age or over, or beyond the age of compulsory school attendance;

Arrow Has not earned a secondary school diploma or its equivalent; and not currently enrolled in school.


What does HEP provide?

The High School Equivalency Program provides to its student participants:

Arrow Stipend

Arrow
GED Preparation and classroom instruction

Arrow
University housing for those in the Summer Residential Program

Arrow
Tutorial assistance

Arrow Academic and vocational counseling career advisement

Arrow Post-HEP assistance......and other services
