What is HEP?

The High School Equivalency Program is a Migrant Education Program designed to meet the special needs of migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their children, in pursuit of the GED Diploma or the HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma). The intent of the HEP Program is to assist in the preparation and successful completion of GED exams. HEP will provide for placement services in universities, colleges, junior colleges, vocational institutions, military services, other post-secondary activities or career positions. The High School Equivalency Program is funded by the US Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education.
