Student Research

Student Research Scholars (SRS) Program
Funded by Cal State Bakersfield Foundation, the SRS Program supports 12 student-faculty teams with a $2,000 award each to conduct and complete a project involving research, scholarship, or creative activity. Applications are available now. The due date for the 2013-14 SRS application is January 25, 2013.

Travel Support for Student Researchers (TSSR)
The TSSR Program is funded by Associated Students, Instructionally Related Activities (IRA).  Awards of up to $400 are provided to help support travel costs for CSUB undergraduate and graduate students who are presenting a paper summarizing their own research or scholarship or showing their own creative work(s) at a national/regional professional meeting/conference.

The due date for the 2012-13 TSSR application is
Winter Quarter: February 22, 2013
Spring Quarter: April 26, 2013

Student Researchers Competition (SRC) - Friday, March 15, 2013
The competition is held to promote excellence in undergraduate and graduate scholarly research and creative activity by recognizing outstanding student accomplishments at CSUB. Applications are due March 1, 2013.
