Monthly open houses allow everyone to visit FACT, get a tour, touch a
wild bird, dissect an owl pellet. No admission charge, no parking
fee.
Tours of FACT
Educational tours featuring mini-lectures and see-touch experiences
for pre-schoolers to seniors are available for a modest $10 donation
per classroom.
School
Shows
Classroom or club room presentations on
birds of prey, with slides and a live bird! Available for a modest
$10 donation per classroom.
FACT Pack
Conservation education materials (raptor biology, pond ecology, raptor
pellets) you can print for use in the classroom.
FACT Videolog
A 6 minute video tour of FACT led by KCET's Huell Howser. Instructions
for borrowing.
Raptor Videos
Short videos on birds of prey you can borrow to use in the classroom.

rescue, conservation, & education project for California State
University Bakersfield.
Local wildlife, especially birds of
prey, and endangered species, the school and the community have
benefited from FACT since 1975.
