Check Returned from Bank: $20
Extension fees are authorized by the California State University Board of Trustees and are subject to change. Visa and MasterCard may be used for payment of fees (see registration section).
Returned Check
A returned check charge is assessed to the cashier for checks returned and for stop payment order on all checks unpaid by the bank for any reason. A stop payment order on a check does not constitute an official withdrawal nor does it relieve the student’s financial obligation for the course.
Extended University Refund Policy (Effective Fall 2002)
Course Cancellation for any Reason:
A full refund of fees will be made.
Five or More Class Meetings (Or Online Course)
(1) Withdraw prior to the second meeting (or by the fourth day of an online course) -- full refund less $25 administrative fee
(2) Withdraw after the second scheduled class meeting (or after the fourth day of an online courses) and prior to a date at which 25% of the course has elapsed --
60% of courses fees refunded. No refund after 25 % of the course has elapsed.
Four or Fewer Class Meetings
(1) Full refund less $25 administrative fee prior to the first meeting.
(2) Withdraw after first meeting and prior to second- 60% of course fees refunded for classes with three or four sessions; no refund for classes with one or two sessions
Failure to withdraw from a credit course in which one is officially registered, but does not complete will result in a grade of F.
Section 41802 of Article 3, Subdivision 5, California Administrative Code in its subdivision (3)7 as amended provides that refunds of extension source tuition fees are to be made in accordance with the above schedule.
