The CSUB Project Management Certificate Program is designed to give project managers and team members the tools and skills necessary to successfully manage and contribute to the success of their projects, regardless of industry or specialization.
The course content is based on A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), Third Edition, 2004, published by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is available through the Project Management Institute.
Candidates can satisfy the educational contact hour requirement by successfully completing this program.

Required Courses for CSUB Certificate: MGMT 801 1.2 PDU Introduction to Project Management Introduces the concepts, processes, and knowledge areas of projects.
MGMT 802 1.6 PDU Project Planning & Scheduling Learn how to plan and schedule projects using Microsoft Office Project.
MGMT 803 1.2 PDU Managing the Project Team Emphasizes how improved communication in project teams can lead to project success.
MGMT 804 1.2 PDU Project Procurement & Quality Management Addresses how to procure quality goods and services for your projects. Learn how to implement quality management principles in projects.
MGMT 805 1.2 PDU Project Ethics & Risk Management Addresses the ethics involved in projects and teaches the various risks that may affect the projects. In addition, teaches strategies to protect projects from these risks.
