GATE Certificate for Teachers
About the Program:
The CSUB Gate Certificate Program is designed to aid teachers in meeting professional development and training requirements set forth in the California Department of Education recommended GATE Standards for teaching gifted and talented students. All instructors are currently working within the field of gifted and talented education.
Cost:
Courses are $120 per unit*. Courses vary from one to three units each.

Requirements for Certificate:
You must complete all four of the required courses and two electives to receive a certificate.
Course Delivery:
Courses will be offered online via WebCT. You must have access to an internet connection. Some courses will be offered face to face at various locations. See online schedule below.

For returning students (students who have taken a course with CSUB before) please allow 48 business hours to process registration and generate WebCT Id.
For New students (student who have never taken a course with CSUB) please allow up to 5 days to process registration and generate WebCT Id.
An email will be sent to you with your WebCT log-in information. Remember to provide an e-mail address on your registration form.
