About the Program:
The Drug and Alcohol Studies Certificate Program provides alcohol and drug counselors, as well as other human service professionals (R.N.s, MFCCs, LCSWs) the training necessary for professional certification by the California Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CCBADC). Program faculty are professionals selected for both expertise in their field of instruction and experience in working with those affected by chemical dependency.

Admission:
The program is open to all those who are interested in learning professional counseling skills to better serve persons affected by chemical dependency. To apply you must show proof of high school graduation or G.E.D. Admission is only permitted in the Fall and Spring Quarters.

To apply to the program you must complete the application form as well as a required (typed) essay. Submit the completed application and essay along with a copy of your high school diploma or G.E.D. The fee of $25 must also be submitted in order for your application to be processed. Application forms may be obtained at the Office of EUD or via US mail by contacting (661) 654-2441 or by clicking here.
