Saturday Art Programs
Five Weeks - October 10 to November 14 (no class October 24)
$150 per child (includes all materials)
For Ages 6-8 (grade 1-3)
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The WizARTS of CSU Bakersfield
Children will learn about artists who are influenced by their families and work with a variety of
mixed media such as pencil, pastels, and paint to create works of art.
For Ages 9-11 (grade 4-6)
Time: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The Sweet Life of Art and Rowdy
Children will learn about artists who are influenced by the finer things in life to create their renowned works of art. Children will work in a variety of media including acrylic paint, watercolors, modeling compound and pastels.
The instructor for both sessions is Dr. Dianne Turner, Professor of Art Education and Director of the CSUB Children’s Art Institute. Dr. Turner will be assisted by CSUB Art Education students.
