Education:

Ray Clanton is Senior Engineering Advisor with California Resources Corporation in Bakersfield, Ca.  He has 30 years of experience in the oilfield, which includes various operational and technical positions at Texaco, Bechtel, Aera Energy and California resources Corporation.  He has a professional engineering license in California, and holds BS degree in petroleum engineering from University of Wyoming, and an MBA degree from California State University, Bakersfield.  Ray is a winner of multiple industry awards, including 2006 Meritorious Award for Engineering Innovation, and the 2012 SPE Production and Operations Award for outstanding contributions to the industry.  He has been an SPE member since 1985, and has served as the chairman of local SJV SPE chapter.

Education:

Dr. Dayanand Saini is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Engineering at California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB). He has a combined 15 years of industry, research, and academic experience. His principle areas of interest and expertise include thermal and non-thermal enhanced oil recovery, numerical reservoir modeling, rock/fluids interactions, minimum miscibility pressure, pressure transient analysis, and general reservoir engineering topics. He received a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, in 2011. He was awarded the Nico Van Wingen memorial graduate fellowship by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Foundation in 2009. He has been an SPE member since 2005 and currently serves as faculty advisor for the SPE Student Chapter at CSUB.

Education:

Shrinidhi Shetty will be joining the Department of Physics and Engineering at California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) in the fall quarter as a petroleum engineering instructor. He holds an M.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. Before joining CSUB, he has held reservoir engineer positions at multiple independent and international exploration and production companies operating in India.
