Transfering Files
Getting your files to your local computer:
AccVerify is a powerful tool to help make Web pages ADA compliant. Web Services encourages you to do the ADA verifications on your local computer, make any repairs and then upload the repaired files to the Web Server. If your site is relatively small or if you plan to do all of the checking in one sitting ftp your files from the server to your desktop all at once. If your site is larger or you plan to do verification over a series of sessions you may wish to download one folder of data at a time.
- This example is shown using WS FTP, the campus software for file transfer. Once you have launched
WS FTP and have connected to the Web Server you will see a screen similar to the one shown below.
On the left hand side of the window browse to where you would like the files to be downloaded to.
(In the picture I have created a folder on my desktop with the same name as the folder I own on the
Web Server.)

- To select all of the files, in the right hand window left click on the top file or folder, hold
down the shift key and left click on the bottom most file or folder. This action will select all
of the files in between. Press the left arrow located in the middle of the screen to move the files
to your computer.

- WS FTP will ask if you want to download the folder and the contents. Click Yes.

- When the transfer is complete all of the files will be on your local computer, ready for verification
using AccVerify.
