Respondus - Blackboard Quiz Tool
What is Respondus?
Respondus is a Windows based application that makes creating and editing Blackboard quizzes, self-test and surveys easy. Exams are created offline, in Respondus or a program such as Microsoft Word, and published directly from Respondus to Blackboard. Respondus also has the ability to obtain reports on quiz and survey statistics.
Visit the Respondus website to learn more about this software.
Why use Respondus?
Respondus allows you to create Blackboard quizzes, self-test and surveys through a familiar Windows environment and upload those quizzes, self-test and surveys directly to Blackboard. There is no need to convert the questions, upload the questions into Blackboard, and create the quiz in Blackboard, this is all done through Respondus.
The Respondus Test Bank Network allows instructors who adopt a participating publisher textbook to download and use the Respondus formatted test bank for free.
If using Microsoft Word, as your quiz creator, you can include tables, images, and special formatting such as bold or underline in your quiz. When using Respondus, these features are easily transferred through Respondus to the Blackboard quiz, self-test, or survey.
