Goals:   To raise CST and CAHSEE scores especially for the EL subgroup

Plan components:

    • full implementation of AR
    • daily independent reading in all English classes
    • acquisition of academic vocabulary through Word of the Week
    • effective EL strategies in all classes
    • a language objective in addition to content objective in all lessons in all courses
    • after-school-tutoring for any student who needs extra support
    • Linguistics classes for freshmen reading below grade level
    • CAHSEE classes in math and English for juniors and seniors who have not passed
