Swimming for Food

Alumni volunteers fed both the men’s and women’s Roadrunner swim teams on Dec. 9 in the Icardo Room. The alumni get in the swim of things because the Dining Commons are closed for the holidays and the student athletes must remain on campus to compete for CSUB. Alumni volunteers said they had a great time feeding 55 hungry athletes.

Read Across America Day

A small group of alumni volunteers helped children at the Wilson Library celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss. “Read Across America,” sponsored by the National Education Association, is an annual reading motivation and awareness program. The alumni read books to the kids and generally celebrated the day.

The CSUB Annual Fund has teamed up with the Alumni Association on a new Website - www.csubalumni.com
It's a site for alumni, parents, friends and businesses to find out about University Advancement and alumni activities, as well as giving information for the campus.
Click on the "Alumni Association" to find out about the mission, goals, and activities of the association. You can also fill out an Alumni Snapshot form, a membership application, or a volunteer form to stay active with your alma mater.
The site itself may not be new to you, but what is new is our on-line secure giving form. If you're interested in giving to CSUB and want the instant gratification of supporting Cal State, you can use our secure site to make an immediate gift. You can reach the giving form from our main page by clicking on "Giving to CSUB" and then clicking on the "Online Gift Form" on the left-hand menu.
Please visit the site, give your input, and show your support for CSUB.
