California State University, Bakersfield President Horace Mitchell will discuss "The American University President" at the next Council of 100 meeting.
The meeting, scheduled Tuesday, May 1, at noon in the Stockdale Room in the CSUB Cafeteria, will focus on the evolving dilemmas of American university presidents.
The Council of 100 is a group of area business executives and community leaders who meet quarterly with CSUB officials to learn of the resources the university can provide.
Chamber of Commerce and Kern Economic Development Corp. members are also invited to the meeting.
Parking in Lot L is free. Enter the campus via Don Hart Drive East off of Stockdale Highway. Parking is not allowed on the grass, and any other lot parking will require a pass. Campus police will be on site to assist.
Price for the luncheon is $10 for non-members.
