Gangs forum at CSUBApril 30, 2007

California State University, Bakersfield's department of criminal justice will co-sponsor a "What's Up With Gangs?" forum with the League of Women Voters on Thursday, May 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the CSUB Student Union multipurpose room. Admission to the forum is free.
A panel of local experts and government officials has been assembled to help answer the growing problem of gangs in our local communities. The panel includes officers from the Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff's Department gang unit. Konrad Moore of the Kern County public defender's office, Matthew Kundinger from the probation department and Councilwoman Irma Carson will also participate on the panel.
Kern County Supervisor Michael Rubio will moderate the forum.
