Grad school info at CSUB

Two upcoming events will give those interested in graduate school the opportunity to look at what California State University, Bakersfield offers.
- A graduate school information session is scheduled Monday, Oct. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 105 of the Nursing Building at CSUB. "So, you're thinking about graduate school" is designated to serve as a starting point to explore why graduate school might be right. The session will review the benefits of graduate education, how to select the right programs, applying to graduate school, and funding opportunities.
- A graduate fair with information about more than 25 graduate degree programs is scheduled in the Stockdale Room at CSUB on Thursday Oct. 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Purpose of the fair is to teach students more about their future beyond the bachelors' degree.
Representatives from various programs will provide program information, application materials and requirements.
Graduate program representation includes: social work, business administration, education, public administration and counseling.
The fair will expose regular graduate programs as well as online programs. ~
