Students and graduates at California State University, Bakersfield will have an opportunity to meet with a variety of job recruiters during CSUB's annual Career Day on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Representatives from companies, agencies and school districts will be on campus that day to recruit CSUB graduates and prospective graduates, said Bill Perry, assistant vice president for student life and director of the CSUB Career Development Center. The Career Day schedule is as follows:
- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., representatives from companies and agencies will be at informational tables in the Dorothy Donahoe Hall galleria.
- 2 to 5 p.m., school district representatives will be at the tables.
"This is an excellent opportunity for prospective graduates and alumni to learn of available job opportunities," Perry said. "We encourage those who are about to graduate or those who have already graduated and are either still looking for a job or seeking other opportunities to see what Career Day has to offer."
