Hi Everyone,

People on the beachAs the CSUB CATS (Community of Academic Technology) staff liaison, I invite you to consider attending the 9th annual CSU CATS Conference held at CSU Monterey Bay, March 20-22. This conference is appropriate for any CSU employee whose position supports the use of technology in teaching and learning.

The CATS conference organizers are currently developing the schedule of workshops based upon proposals submitted by CSU technology staff. If you are interested in presenting at the conference, go to: http://cats.cdl.edu/catsconf2006 and follow the link titled "program."

Historically, at least two representatives from each CSU campus have been "sponsored" by CATS to attend the conference. If you are interested in attending, talk to your manager. We encourage our staff to take this opportunity to meet other CSU staff and learn how different campuses address technology issues.

Below is the list of topics for presentations. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge of any of these subjects please submit your proposal by January 30th.
