California State University, Bakersfield is currently searching for the 2005-06 Alumnus of the Year. The CSUB Alumni Association will honor a CSUB graduate who has made significant contributions to his or her profession, society, and the university in a special recognition ceremony early next month.

Nominations will be accepted from individuals, businesses and corporations, non-profit agencies, schools, and community service organizations. Alumni must meet the following criteria to be eligible for nomination:

• Received a graduate or undergraduate degree or teaching credential from CSUB.
• Made significant profession, societal and university contributions.

A selection panel of past recipients and members of the CSUB Alumni Association board of directors will review the submissions, interview candidates and select a winner.
